Emerging Technologies/Emerging Economies Conference

I didn't have time to update everyone at the meeting, but the website for the Conference on Emerging Economies/Emerging Technologies is now available (click here for link).

Rachel Parker from CNS came to talk to us a few weeks ago about the conference which is scheduled for Nov 4-9, 2009 in D.C.

I know some of you seemed interested, and as Rachel indicated, there will be a section "Meeting Energy Demands Through Emerging Technologies" that I think we as IGERT fellows would really benefit from learning at.
